Who We Are

Geniq (rhymes with academic) delivers the world-class population health and value-based care qPlatform.

The qPlatform was crafted with more than 30 years of excellence in managing global risk and value-based care. Developed by workflow experts, the qPlatform originated inside a prominent healthcare delivery system as the engine behind quality care and successful business management.

Currently, the qPlatform supports the management of more than 1.2 million members across 13 locations in California, New York, Colorado and Arizona. The qPlatform has grown and evolved over the years through constant feedback from its 3,000 active users. With a laser focus on user workflow and quality care, the qPlatform is a great fit for any healthcare organization.

Geniq Inc. was launched in the fall of 2019 to introduce the qPlatform to the broader healthcare market.

Meet The Team

Tom Zaves

Tom Zaves joined Geniq in September 2019 after serving as senior VP and general manager of strategic operations for Inform Diagnostics. He is a seasoned leader with a passion for serving customers and patients. Tom has an outstanding track record of growing businesses and maximizing profits through innovation and operational excellence.

Tom has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare services industries, including diagnostics, pharmacy benefits management, hospital GPO, and value-based/delegated risk markets. Throughout his career, he has developed and leveraged healthcare information technology to transform and grow businesses. Tom holds an MBA from The University of Dallas, where he graduated with honors. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University.

Kieran O’Sullivan

Kieran began working on the qPlatform in 2016 and formally joined Geniq in 2020. He has extensive experience in both software engineering and leading engineering teams. As CTO at Geniq, Kieran leads all IT initiatives across engineering and quality assurance. He is currently leading the redevelopment of the company’s qPlatform with a new user interface and expanded functionality.

Kieran holds a master’s of science degree in computing from Technical University Dublin, where his focus was on data science and artificial intelligence. He also earned a bachelor’s of science degree from Munster Technical University.

Christina Diaz

Christina Diaz joined Geniq in February 2021 after serving as director of case management for CareMore Health, where she led design and implementation of new case management and utilization management programs for a wide range of populations and partnerships. She brought with her more than 25 years of in-depth knowledge of implementing innovative solutions that improve workflows and administrative services to gain efficiency and achieve business objectives.

Christina credits her work ethic to her immigrant parents, who always set the example of honest, hard work and family values. She continues to set an example for her son, stepchildren, and grandchildren by demonstrating to them that hard work and loyalty can lead to an impactful life, as well as a meaningful career.

Aaron Drew

After graduating UC Berkeley in 2019, Aaron joined the business analytics team at Heritage Provider Network, where he utilized the qPlatform on a daily basis to inform strategic decisions and ensure quality care delivery. Having gained expertise in the qPlatform as a product user, Aaron was recruited by Geniq to help commercialize the qPlatform for the broader healthcare market. Outside of the office, Aaron coaches basketball for a local high school and enjoys playing saxophone and golf.

Alejandra Garcia

Alejandra Garcia joined Geniq in October 2021 and brought with her 15 years of experience in the health care industry. Having previously served as a trainer and product owner in utilization management, she values collaboration between clinical, operational, and IT teams to achieve optimal business objectives. Her focus is simplifying the complexities of health care to enhance both provider and patient experience, and she has a proven track record in process improvement. Outside of work, her daughter and family bring her daily joy and drive her to succeed.

Bryan Chic

Operations Manager

Bryan joined Geniq in October of 2021 after serving as a senior project manager in the private finance sector for six years. He is PMP certified and is pursuing an MBA at Pepperdine’s Graziadio Business School. Bryan’s focus is to implement a project management framework that aligns with Geniq’s long-term strategy to ensure high growth for many years to come. Outside of the office, Bryan loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, recreational basketball, and hiking.
